Ernesto L. Garcia C. is the Managing Director for GPS-Mexico. Ernesto has more than 20 years of experience in Six Sigma, Lean, TQM, and Operations Management initiatives. His areas of technical expertise are: Logistics and Supply Chain Improvement, Six Sigma Deployment, Advanced Statistical Analysis, Operations Research/Management Science, Modeling/Simulation and Lean Technologies that have provided millions of dollars for his customers.

As a consultant, Ernesto works with GPS clients in the design and deployment of strategies to achieve Operational Excellence® with exceptional capability in business process value streams like Finance, Supply Chain, and Front and Back-end Service Processes, in addition to Management/Operations, and Manufacturing. Ernesto has mentored and trained Black Belts and Master Black Belts in Lean Sigma, Six Sigma, Design for Reliability, and Modeling of Transactional Processes. His previous experience includes training and mentoring Black Belts for Motorola University in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, and the Americas.

Ernesto holds a B.S. Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Monterrey Tech (ITESM-Campus Monterrey), a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Managerial Economics, both from ITESM-Campus Ciudad de México. As a Fulbright Scholar, Ernesto obtained a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ernesto is fluent in English and Spanish and has provided training and consulting throughout the world including the USA, France, Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Costa Rica, India, China, Singapore and Hong Kong.
