GPS provides tailored solutions for each client that begins by consulting with company leadership to understand their biggest challenges for achieving growth objectives and profitability targets. Our consultants then tap their extensive experience and follow our trademark approach to create a plan that overcomes those challenges. Finally, our team, guides leadership thru the execution of that plan by holding routine reviews, using scorecards to track progress and report results. Along the journey, we provide honest feedback about what’s working and where adjustments are necessary to maintain momentum or accelerate results.
GPS consultants include one of the creators of Six Sigma and several of the longest-serving Master Black Belts in the industry, with their roots in AlliedSignal, GE, GenCorp, and Sequa – all implementations of more than a decade. Our consultants combine this experience with their in-depth knowledge of our four-phase approach to achieving Operational Excellence®.
This four-phase cycle is initiated by strategic priorities, enabled by focusing people to fix processes using a standard method, and sustained by robust business systems, discipline and the momentum that is produced by realizing results. Consulting services are concentrated in the ALIGN phase. During the MOBILIZE and ACCELERATE stages, GPS is primarily delivering training and implementation support, which continues through the GOVERN phase and, consistent with the nature of this continuous cycle, we begin again, consulting with company Leadership to renew, refresh, and reinvigorate efforts.
